Default how do I get this out?

I know I don't have all those buttons but how do I get that piece out so I can run wires to that area. I am going to drill into the blank spaces and install switches.

just like sonoma said..cept that whole assembly lifts from the front with hinge under the back end. That'* why you gotta put the shifter in gear instead of park, for the swing up .

That switch pod just lifts out if you gently pry it. You don't need to lift the whole console. Who'* car is that? It'* not an SE.

yes, but if you've never done it before, it helps to see the back so you see how it comes out. Removing the switch assembly your way is easier and safer after you've done it before. Plus, it'* good to take the whole cover out once in a while to clean.

i knew that car looked familiar...

in front of the **** there is a clip...just pull out with a needle nose pliers...

i would suggest just taking out the switch panel... so much less work.. just pry with a screw driver...
