Default vague wiring harness problem (related to ABS)

If i ever figured out how to post a picture, this would be the time to use it.

Basically, my ABS went out again, third time in a year. Luckily i found a break in the wiring harness- there is a clip in the line for the right front tire which is mounted right near the water pump pulley. I have about 3 inches of wire sticking out of the clip before it breaks off, but i can't see where the wires went to, unless it'* one of the two black wiring harnesses which run along the ridge from the battery. Also there is a stiff black hose that appears to come from the windsheld cleaner container that goes to the same spot. I think the tube is supposed to continue on through a rubber joint to a metal tube? If anyone can put it up I'll send them the digital photo i just took. Thanks!

(and sorry for the terrible explaination...i'm still pretty new at all this)

You can email that picture to me so it can be posted. randman1 at verizon dot net is the address.

This picture shows where the RF ABS wires enter into the engine compartment. It sounds like you are in the right area.

That is the ABS wire connector. The hard plastic line that the red arrow is pointing is the vapor line that goes to the fuel tank. I believe the wires enter the larger of the two harnesses running along the unibody in that spot.

In the second pic you can see three metal pipes right behind the clip. I believe that Fuel vapor hose is supposed to be connected to one of those, but when i tried to reconnect it, it felt like it was too short to reach. What problems could there be if that hose is not connected? Also could i get confirmation that IS the vapor hose? B/c it looked like if i followed it, it went to the windshield washer tank (?) Thanks again -Brian
