Hey Everyone, how'* it goin. I bought a L.E.D. Scanner in Neo Blue. Ya know, what people use for their car alarms and such. Well, I had this crazy Idea that I would place it in my turning signal in the bumper. It has this sick looking fade in and fade out effect. So I figured if I made the signals clear like my corner lights, I'll definatley get heads to turn when I blink them. The only problem is, I am afraid that the relay for my sinal will cut the power. So I'll put on my blinker and then it'll work every half second. That'* not cool. I need someone to tell me what I need to help the L.E.D. Stay on, even though the relay for my turn signal keeps cutting out.

I don't know abou the law in your area.. so I would check into that.. up here.. you cannot change the blinker to any other color... only marker lights.

You should be able to bypass the blinker unit if you just make yourself an adapter to bypass it... this should give you full time power when the turn signal is being used.. however, I don't know if this will throw an error code ( most likely it will ) stating something wrong with your turn signal..

I'm good with creating sick things on the car, and I have good ideas all the time, but unfortunatleyI have no friggin' idea how to make an adaptor, can you please assist me on how I would go about this.

Drifte is right about the car throwing codes. Anything but a standard stock bulb ill light up you driver information center with a bad lights warning. I tried to put in the orange LED'* a while back to finish off the clear lok (cleared my corner lenses) but they didn't work well at all with the lighting system. I ended up getting the same bulb but only in orange (clear bulb is stock). There probably is a way you can put them in by using resistors to make the car think the bulb is i and working but I wouldn't know how to install it and setup the new bulbs with it.

See if you can find an old Mercury Cougar! These cars had the revolving rear tail lights remember! Each light would flash is a series. If you do something like this then you should be okay.
