Can any one tell me the shifting seaquence of a 1993 bonneville 3800?
The ? I have is does it go 1,2,3,od,lock up or is it 1,2,3,lockup,od

You can lockup in 3 or 4.. call it 4th or OD..your choice.

if i'm in overdrive on shifter, which happens frist,the lock up converter or overdrive?

If you are only driving fast enough to be in 3rd, you get lockup then 4th once you get moving fast enough.


If you roll along decently to get up to speed, 4th will happen first.
