low or no dust brake pads
well im in need of new pads soon and im looking for low dust pads yet long lasting. any suggestions?

I've had carquest ceramics for one year, and my rotors are beginning to warp. I found out after installing them that you're supposed to have hardened or slotted rotors for ceramics because they're harder and don't conduct heat away from the rotors.

You can try out Merlins Akimoto ceramics... free new ones for life 
EBC Green and Red Stuff are also good, and the Ceramix (as mentioned above) have gotten pretty good reviews.

Long lasting, very low dust. Aim for the ceramics. Brand probably doesn't matter much they are already a high performance pad. Like one mentioned, make sure you get rotors that will take the extra beating.
As an FYI for anyone considering the low dust or long life of a ceramic. And I know CFoote and Randman1 will attest.
My 00 full sized Chevy p/u with 8 foot bed and extended cab, plus 4wd is a very big and heavy vehicle. It has the original factory front brakes and pads on it at 101K miles. I'm hard on brakes...(gotta be when you use the power as much as I do). 100 thou miles on a set of pads on a Big Heavy Truck is unheard of in my book.
Spend the money on the good rotors...because you'll never touch the brakes again. btw..backs changed because caliper hung up.
