Default Brakes

I have a 96 SE with a shimmy between 60-75, hit the edge of a new bridge a couple of years ago. I was told it had bent a rim, after new rims & tires it still there. Now they tell me the rotors are warped and need new calipers ( because they are sticking ) and pads. If I change the rotors do I need to change the hub assembly.

No, it does it all the time. I replaced the rotors, calipers and pads. Still there. Now going for cv shaft. If thats not it I think I'll go for the tie-rod ends or ball joints.

I would go back to square 1 and make sure the "new" 2 year old tires are still in balance and not out of round before pouring more money trying to resolve the shimmy. Also was the car recently aligned. They usually check the front end out before they do an alignment such as ball joints and tie rod ends.

After all this new tires and rims, rotors, calipers and pads and cv shafts there is still a shimmy. The tech is heading toward the tork converter lockup. The ball joints and tie rod ends were good and it is in alignment.
