I'm considering to look into a high flow cat... basically there is no throttle response until it hits 3 rpm'*...

Well after having the mechanic look at it the knock is actually the lower engine :( He said the enigne could've already been in bad shape or its possible that the backpressure from the accelerating problem couldve broken it. Anyway I'm gonna throw a rebuilt engine in there and hopefully this car will last awhile. Cheapest rebuilt I have found so far is $1700 any of you know where to find one cheaper than that? I'd consider a used engine, but it would have to have a way to verify that it has low miles on it.

I originally started to pull the engine from my other bonnie that has a dead motor and I got all the way to the point where I remove the tranny from the engine and take the engine out... (didnt actually remove tranny and take engine out cuz I found a deal on this bonie which is an ssei instead of an se) any advice for that particular part of the process? I've heard that as far as engine swaps go bonnies are pretty easy. Is there anything I will need other than the engine itself and fluids and filters to put on when its done?
