When my baby comes back on Tuesday I need to be changing the spark plugs. Could I get some suggestions on which ones I should be using? They got my engine running at the shop! It'* being painted today.

I think the best you can get are probably NGK. I know someone here (not sure who) said to use the regular ones and not the Iridiums because of the copper in them and how they react durring heavy detonation in the cylinder. I personally am using the NGK Iridium and I am very happy with them. Also, I believe Bosch was on the "do not get ever" list for plugs, but someone else can verify that for you.

Ditto, sweetie! The Irridiums are great for the NA cars like yours, us "BLOWN" guys have to stick with copper cores.

NGK is awesome. I'm using NGK V-Powers right now.....they keep me FRISKY! And the car, too!

I got my from grandprixstore.com but you can probably order them thru your local parts store as well.

So if I have iridium NGK plugs in my car, is that bad? I thought I was doing myself a favor. Do you think these plugs will be ok in my car?

It should be alright.. from hearing it from Hector he stated that copper plugs are better for */C because copper would melt together causing the lost of spark in case of pre-detonation.. you'll just have to replace the plugs more often.

What about splitfire? Autozone doesn't have much in the way of spark plugs for my car. I think I've heard good things about splitfire, but I could be hallucinating again.

I ran Bosch Platinums for the first 100k. I hated to change them. They looked like new in box. I'm now at 80,000 more miles on my second set of Bosh Platinums.

Isn't it funny how one thing works like crap in one car and works great in another of the same type?! Go figure.
