Default Tuning up.

Well i want to do a FULL tune up of my car, i want to do everything and everything, just changed the oil today, got my NGK'*, taylor wires, and O2 sensor in the mail right now, now i was wondering what else should i do? i have a brand new fuel filter and stuff, should i get a PCV valve? what exactly is that? and i think i need a new boost control solenoid, are they expensive, and are they hard to install?

A PCV is positive crankcase ventilation valve. They are cheap and can help mpg if yours is clogged.

Good point Matt, change the belts and store the old ones in the trunk just in case

Because of a few recent rough starts and engine stalls, I think I may be in the market for a tune up as well... but should I need to start replacing plugs and such? Everything in my Bonny is supposed to be 100k (or so I thought), but from reading posts here it sounds like the fluids and parts rarely last that long. Comments on where one should start (with 53k on the clock on my case)? I don't want to do needless work, or replace parts that should still be perfectly good.

My 99 started acting up at the exact same mileage...missing, rough starts, lack of power, and check engine light. I gave it a complete tune up at 54,000 miles and it'* been great since (other than the spark plugs...don't buy Bosch). As a matter of fact I just got my NGKs last night and I'm swapping them in tonight!

Thanks, vital... I guess that'* where I'll start. I'd like some details on what exactly you tuned up, if you get a chance. Check your Inbox, I'll send you a PM.
