Orty,

You are probably mostly done at the shop by now, but I just got around to reading this thread. My understanding is that around $800 is the going rate for the UIM/LIM failure repair (I had mine done before finding BC and got raped for $1200).

If it'* not too late have them put in the new all metal LIM gasket from GM. It'* better. If they can't find it, let us know and one of us will look up the P/N.
