Help diagnose 2 codes
Engine work:
-I've replaced the */C coupler
-Replaced the UIM and LIM gaskets
-Changed plugs, air filter,
since putting the car back on the road I'm now getting 2 Codes
1. P0122 - intake air temp lo
2. P1406 - Lin egr pintle pos
First off, where is the intake air temp sensor located?
Has anyone dealt with either of these codes?
Thanks

Search on cleaning EGR.. in the case of yours being digital..I'd heat up the car.. using adequate gloves..take it off.. spray TB cleaner into it..(it'll boil) and push the pintle in and out numberous times until it moves freely.

Last I knew it was located on the air inlet hose. 2 wire connector.

Back at WCBF my accordian tube (Series 2 IAT location) was changed out for some smoother tubing. I moved the IAT to the lower corner of the airbox. Can't easily see it'* not plugged in.
YUP..I forget mine nearly every time I pull my airbox That nice little light reminds me every darn time too.

Thank'* for the clarification Bill.
Ok he'* the report, Michael'* auto teacher, told him that he put a meter on the IAT and it'* erratic and not reading properly so he'* saying that it should be replaced. He also mentioned that once the IAT is replaced it may take care of the second code since the IAT need to be operating properly in order for the EGR to be working properly also. On that note, does anyone has a part # for the IAT so I can order one. Or maybe I can PM Drifter to see if he has one off of his parts car. Speaking of Drifter I haven't seen him online for several weeks.
