They have been discontinued from GM all together. Even AC Delco remans are not available any more. I've tried this already, to keep my built in radio controls on my steering wheel. You are going to either have to go after market or newer GM unit & upgrade the wiring harness for the radio to get it to work properly. Any GM radio for a car after 95/96 has an upgraded wiring harness under the dash (OBDII) :?

You might be surprised just how many of these things are laying around wrecking yards. Most wreckers have a nationwide database, too. They'll find it if it'* out here. The low end stereo for the 92-95 usually runs 50 bucks for cassette, the EQ version with cassette is double that. CD, I dunno.

It'* worth it. I dumped my Jensen deck and changer to go back stock. Then I added a ten disk that plays through an FM modulator. Smartest thing I ever did.

Wanna ****? I bought the 80 buck translator to interface between my aftermarket stereo (jensen or any other brand) and the steering wheel controls. Never installed it. Dumped the deck instead. That stupid thing is still in the factory package.

Was that kit designed for an OBD I or OBD II car?
The reason for asking I've got OBD I & I've been told by a couple of places that I have to rewire the harness in with an OBD II harness for the steering wheel controls! I just want to know if someone is pulling my leg or not! I'm not into sound systems that much, I just fix cars!
