95 Bonneville Intermitten Speedometer

95 Bonneville Intermitten Speedometer
This forum looks to be a wealth of knowledge.
We recently purchased a 1995 bonneville ( non supercharged) for $600 cdn.
So far, I had to replace the sending unit, fuel filter, plug wires and plugs and fram air filter. It runs great, but has a ignition switch that causes a no start if not pushed hard enough while turning the key. Once running it runs like a top, and with only 192,000 kilometers on the clock, we are hoping it will last a few more years at least..
The speedometer is intermittent , as you drive it goes off for 5 10 minutes , then stays on for 10 or so, its very random. I have cleaned the drivers ground and under the hood connections, but did not know there was another ground in the passenger sill until my search a few minutes ago.
Could the passenger poor ground be the issue? Also, are there any other ground locations other then the ovbious ones and the driver sill?
The car handles and rides great, the car sat for 11 months, so the fuses were corroded so they were replaced as well. Also, we are missing the fuse cover panel, anyone have a picture of a 95 bonneville fuse cover....
Also, the trunk is locked shut and the key does not do anything, Any ideas on how to get into the trunk while its locked?
thanks all.

I woudl check the speed sensor. It'* located on the diff on the passenger side. Go under the car and you will see it on the rear of the diff. It may be loose, or corroded. Otherwise the senor my be going bad and need to be replaced. This is a easy task, one bolt and it comes out.

Okay great, thanks. Probally corroded, the car sat like I said, but also had A LOT of moisture inside.
I cleaned the ground on the passenger side sill, it was really bad. All white almost.
