Default Coil Pack issue

K.. changed the plugs and wires about 2K km ago.. seems to have bad coil packs ( bad idleing and power, going heavy on throttle and boost would dump ).. (1st bottom coil ).. #1 is firing with orange sparks ( bad/low voltage ), borrowed if off Tamara'* car and still does the same with the good one. ( Middle coil Pack ) #2 not firing.. hear clickity click. ( top coil pack ) #3 also has orange spark (low/bad voltage), and #6 seems to be on its way out blue with a mild orange spark . What could cause this?? What controls the Coil pack?

P.*. had battery issue day before. Seemed like the battery was connected and got loose, so the volt light came on.. dash light went out.. then the HUD ( light and wiper obviously low and slow ). Died just as I pulled into the driveway. Would this cause anything? I think I may try and boost and or charge the battery just to see if that would help or not..

EDIT: the car started fine each time afterwards after changing the battery lug.

Never mind.. it was #3 plug wires.. when I pulled it off, the dam metal piece was still on the plug.. so had to strip and crimp it again..

The coils are powered by battery voltage. They are controlled via the ignition control module (under coil packs) which allow the field to build in the primary coils at such a time that the spark is required it will collapse the field into the secondary coil inducing the high voltage required to jump the spark gap. You will need to measure the resistance in the coils (primary and secondary sides). This will tell you the condition of the coil pack as well as the condition of the ground. Take off the control module and check it for corrosion (bad ground) as well.

Is the car alright after fixing the battery lug and boosting?

no boosting was required.. and I fixed the battery lug and the car started fine on it'* own. Out of curiousity.. how would you check primary and secondary coil? I see 2 prongs out at the bottom of the coil packs.
