It'* not clear whether the bearings in the supercharger or the bearings in the tensioner are making the noise. Which one did he say was going bad?

It is possible that the squeak will go away because it started after a power wash, however, you should monitor it for a while to make sure. It may be a belt noise (we hope) that came about because the pulley was cleaned or it may be a bearing going bad in your SC (we hope not).

OK - first of all - don't power wash an engine.

My belt tensioner went bad. I thought that the supercharger was going, or the alt, or the ............

It is a simply item to replace.

Supercharger fluid - $40 to replace / flush.

Just to let you know, you could have done this yourself for $10 - $12.00. That'* the cost for (2) bottles of sc oil.
