Default hd & non-hd diff interchangable?

Does anyone know for sure if i can put a hd diff in my trans? I'm assuming i'd need the outputshaft and diff cover from a hd trans as well.

ohh i've got a 4T60-e and i want to put in a 4t60-hd diff.

i e-mailed zoomer and i got a yes and i e-mailed intense and got a no before so i dunno

I suppose I'd tell Zoomer that intense said no, and ask him why he thinks yes, and then do the same with Intense.

They don't really have experience with the 60e, they might be going off their 65e knowledge, which may or may not be transferable.

I dunno about intense but zzp has experience w/ 4T60s cause there are zzp 4T60-e race trannys out there.
