heheheh okay, i have been working on this car about four and a half hours now.. havent gotten too far, i think all i have managed to do is take off a motor mount, put it back on, and try repeatedly to get this dang thing off!!! its 640 am, still not going to give up, (mama always said i was hard headed) soooo fly wheel. i looked for this.. not really seeing one, and this dust cover i am supposed to have... im not seeing that either, all i see is a harmonic bal. and i can see the crank sensor from looking at the balancer, along with the teeth of the plates on the back, i think im going to look thru some past threads to see if i can find some info...

The dust cover is a plastic cover. From the harmonic balancer..look down the underside of the oil pan.. at the other end from the balancer is the plastic cover aka dust cover. Take that off with 2 10mm bolts and you will see the flywheel .

:? hmmmmm... im kind of pondering taking this new harmonic bal back and just living with this one for the time being.. OH i didnt really ever find the dust cover lol, everything under that car is coated with oil, i cant tell what is plastic.. or.. oil lol, i remember you saying 10 mm bolts, so i figured that i would take a 10mm sockett and start trying bolts in the area you were talking about didnt find any that were 10mm, is there a more specific location of this dust cover?, there is no way that i can get that bolt out of there, ive tried just about everything. not having air tools SUCKS! if i can pin point that fly wheel i might be able to pull it off and change it. all i know is that i worked on that car all night long, went to wk this morning, now im off work and am not looking foward to another sleepless night working on this car, from what i can see so far is that the crank sensor is pretty messed up from where that belt hit it, so i think im gonna take the sensor off and replace it, ohhhh wait.. i have to take the dang harmonic bal off to do that .. god this is a never ending circle!! hahahah ill try tonight to look more closely for the dust cover again.. thanks for all the support. really does help believe it or not
