Default Ding Dong the bearings dead the bearings dead..........

I think it'* safe to close this thread. When I went to class this morning there'* some nice little turns around campus and I actually noticed a slight buzzing in the steering wheel when I turned to the right. This convinced me that it was the other (passenger side) bearing. I stopped after class and picked up another bearing from NAPA and came home. Had it replaced in 55 min flat (someone please push my chest back in) All is well. Bufford is very quiet again.

You don't NEED a power chisel for ball joints, but they do help a lot. Half inch drill bit, patience, and beer CAN get the job done.

Glad you fixed the bearing issue! I had a feeling it was the passenger side. 55 minutes is good time! Sometimes those can be a PITA.
