Default Water pump replacement ,some questions.

Hi everybody.

My question is , is it possible to remove water pump without removing engine mount.
It'* supercharged engine and techinfo says in order to remove pulley engine mount has to be removed. I'm wondering maybe there is enough space to remove that pulley.

Here is short story.
After replacing accessory bracket I noticed new rattling sound.
It was actually before replacement of bracket ,but it was like it'* present for some time.then dissapear and so on.
Now it constant.
I do have rattling sound from SC but it'* deeper in tone and disappeares with high RPM.This one stay when add RPM and have some metall rattlink in itself.
When removing SC belt all rattle sounds are gone.,so it'* SC,water pump or A/C.
A/C is relatively new (less than a year),SC was making diff rattle.
My choice is water pump.
Is it possible it can make this loud rattle sound?
Any input is appreciated.

Forgot to say,it'* not tensioner.
I do have second used tensioner and I swaped it and the sound is identically same.

Edit: Or maybe it'* SC getting worse?
I tried water pump with hands,it'* spinning well without any noice(probably because no belt on it ).
It doesn't have any pay when rotate, but it has some minimal "play" when trying to tilt pulley.

You have to remove the mount and loosen the Accessory bracket to change the pump.

You need a stethescope to home in on the sound. The only way it'* the SC is if the coupler had completely failed and the pins are impacted each other.

Get a stethescope and very carefully go after the root cause.

If you can't find or don't want to buy a stethascope, a 3/8 inch wood dowl rod or a very big screw driver will also work. Put one end on the pump and the other end to your ear. Be very careful not to touch the belt or any other moving part.

Thanks for an answer guys.
One more question.
I just want to exclude harmonic balancer.
I read some topics where someone has no rattle removing belt and in the end it was HB anyway.
How to properly inspect it and how long can I drive with it (in case it'* failed) before replacement?

Sothere is no way to remove pump withiout removing engine mount.
Damn,I was hoping it'* possible..
I'm doing all repairs on the street and don't have anything to jack up engine. :(

Small update.
Just tried to listen where this sound coes from with wood stick.
Water pump appears quiet. All sound comes from SC nose.
It pas "play" close to 1/2 " when rotating and small "play" when trying to pull pulley.
Slim chance I will be able to do anything with SC right now.
It'* damn loud though.

half inch? Your coupler is toast if it'* even intact. If you drive like that, you will damage it.

Well, I drive like that for more than a year. Not exactly like that.
It was probably smaller play which gets bigger and bigger.
Whatever suppose to happen ,will happen so yes,I will drive like that untill I fix it or replace whole SC.
Most important to me is engine oil pressure and normal engine temperature.
I'm sick of missing work days because of this car(working tonight by the way).
Now I will be collecting info on fixing SC ,maybe ordering some parts.
I hope it'* not major PITA to remove it. At least everything on the top.

Thank you for replying.
I really appreciate it.

Best regards

Last time bothering you guys.

I read somevhere here about ordering supercharger kit from some company.
Can you point me please. I can't find it right now.
What else can be changed when SC is removed.
Some coolant elbow was mentioned somewhere too.
Any info ( or link) appreciated.

Thanks in advance.
