Once he told me what it was I said cut it, he said he'd rather tie it up. He said it was stretched out and was afraid if I enabled it that I wouldn't be able to dis-able it and would ride with the rear brakes enabled. I told him I never use it anyway. After he tied it he said never use it again.

yes i do ...but i think the "Sensor/Wire" hanging from the bottom of the car was the EBrake cable,,,,,

i would not put up with out a Parking Brake
