Get the black ones. Round Black ones are cool, too.

Or look into the Toyo Proxes TPT. Directional tread. Good grip, great mileage warranty. Available at your friendly neighborhood Les Schwab tire store. And then get them siped.

I asked the same question of the tire guy, He said that they were. But he would have told me anything I wanted to hear. I'm doing some checking now... let you know

Last winter they were great on snow. Only had to chain up twice. Once going up to Crater Lake, and once for only part of the pass going over the Santiam.

This winter is a bit different. I'm putting alot more power to the ground. I had them siped which helps alot. Wish I'd done that last year. I also let the pressure down to 20psi in the really bad weather. During last week'* deep freezes here, I was one of the few cars even ATTEMPTING to get around town. They do well.

The directional tread really gives them the chance to build in some better traction. Most definitely GET THEM SIPED!

Michelin HydroEdge

love these tires i used to have some goodyears but they had uneven wear im not sure how but they werent top of the line so i upgraded into these and now it makes it really hard to burn out even in the rain. excellent grip on the road. has been snow and works well.
