Leaking transmission fluid
My 94 SSE is leaking transmission fluid. The only thing I think this could be is a bad gasket. But, I can't find much information on the forum about tranny leaks. Is this a common problem? How else could it be leaking? Thanks

The bottom pan gasket IS THE most common leak though. try washing it off & then re-tighten the pan bolts first. These bolts sometimes loosen off with road vibration. If that doesn't solve it, then replace the gasket & filter (while you're at it). The gasket from GM is rubber with a metal insert. It was designed to be re-useable.
