Is there anyway I can keep my car from fuel dumping or just get it warmed up quicker to keep it from fuel dumping for so long?

A block heater will help a lot. Also, sitting idle does not heat the engine up as fast as when your driving.

After 294,715 miles, purchased as a demo with 7100 miles on it in 1993, I would say at least 5-10 mins. I like that oil to be good and flowing before I run down the road.

Generally, I start it at most 5 minuets before I leave for work, but that'* more for my comfort. When I leave from work I start it and sit for a minuet or two at most. You want to get the oil moving, then just pull away easy. I find when I start early and leave I get about 2 miles before I get nice heat. When I start and pull away, I go about 3 miles and I start getting heat. When it'* really cold then it obviously takes a little longer.
