Could be that if you have corrosion on the ground bus, during the install on the remote starter things might have gotten jumbled up and or yanked apart.

Very true. I'll have to check it out in the morning since today is the last day I'm going to have a garage for a while and it'* way too cold to play in the snow
Could compromised insulation be causing any of these problems? There were a few wires I slightly stripped to test that turned out to be the wrong ones. I think I taped them all up, but it'* possible I missed a couple.

Both ground buses were in mint condition. I was surprised at how perfect they looked. They must have been replaced somewhere along the line. I went ahead and took them apart and sprayed them down to make sure connections were good.
I sealed up any remaining damaged insulation. All problems still exist.

Anyone know if this car has fuseable links?

I am pretty sure that they all have fusible links, but usually down by the starter, when it cooks the whole car is dead from my experience if I remember right. I have got a possibly crazy idea, if alot of the problems started with the installation of the remote start, disconnect the remote start fully from the car and see if things come back to life. When I bought my car at auction, I had pretty much all those same things not working on the car, ABS light was on, cruise did not function, no radio a whole list of things. Some cheeky bugger at the auction was pulling fuses to make things stop working. They were all under the dash and the cover had a sticker on it detailing the fuse placement. I think you have two or three completely unrelated and most likely simple things gone wrong.

I would start checking for power AT the fuse blocks.
