Default AC COMPRESSOR OR AC COMPRESSOR PULLEY

Hello all,

Maybe some of you know if possible to change AC COMPRESSOR PULLEY ON THE COMPRESSOR IT being still mounted on the engine, allong with the freon in it.

I have seen the a bolt, that I think if to remive it, loosen the belt would be ok to chenge the pulley alone.

The gap between the pulley and the magnet diminished and makes quite some noise. System works ok, stikk cool air comes out of it ok.

If not possible to get pulley someone knows good dealers/manufacturers/remanufacturers for the whole Compressor asssembley? In Canada?

Regards to all

Default DEALING WITH AC COMPRESSOR OR AC COMPRESSOR PULLEY

Hello all,

I do resend slightly modified issue. Would appreciate any input.

Maybe some of you know if possible to change AC COMPRESSOR PULLEY allone instead of changing the whole assembley od the AC compressor?

The COMPRESSOR can stay still mounted on the engine, allong with the freon in it.

There is a bolt, that I think if to remove it, then loosen the belt that runs for all things like stearing, brakes etc., would be ok to remove the pulley alone. That bolt is on the little axle, through which he pulley when the magnett engages spinns the compressor and you get the coolig effect and so on..

The gap between the pulley and the magnet diminished and makes quite some noise.

System works ok, stikk cool air comes out of it ok.

Anybody had problem with the compressor? Had to change it? Etc? Or anybody experienced problem with the noise comming from under the hood, like metal grinding noise?

I would kindly appreciate any reply for this troubleshooting.

Any info of dealers in general for new, pieces or remanufactured?

Thanks
LT Bonie
