Default Fuel sender

If there is a problem wiht your guage woudl u need ot buy an entire assembly/ Or can piece be bought to fix it and how hard is it to do. It seems like it just needs ot be calibrated because when im at close to empty mark or below it i have about 1-2 gallons left...
