Unhappy Is my motor hydro-locked?

not sure if this is the right room but here we go.

95 bonnie with a 99 GP engine. driving yesterday to pick up the rims, was on the highway for bout 30 minutes. stopped to pay and pulled off fine, as i exited the highway coming to a stop the car started to hesistate as if it was misfiring. so easd off the brake and it idled back out. so im driving and i start to see smoke from the exhaust, wasnt alot, probably one stream then it disapeared. make it to the rim shop and opened the hood to check and for a burned wired perhapse. i see that one of the wires was coming off the coil, so i pushed it back on and the car seemed to go back to normal. gave it a lil gas sounded fine. shut it off.
put the rims in the car one in the trunk, two in the back seat and one in the front, WE READY TO GO !! go to start the car and the starter clunked as if it had jus went out. WOW NOT AT THE RIM SHOP !! ok so itry to jumpit, nothing, tap the starter it cranked, but stoped. ok so i figure my starter jus died got a warrenty, take it off and go get another one. had my original test and it did fail. back to put the new up and its in. go to start and i get the same sound. ok let me try to turn my crank and see if i get movement moved a little but noy fully rotating, which should happen. i start with the #6 spark plug, and soon as i take it out i hear something running pouring out. i check it and its antifreeze, pull 4 and 2 and they do the same thing...............
so please dont tell me she just died on me....where do i go from here ?

Sounds like your UIM failed on you. I wouldn't try to rotate the engine anymore. I would pull the plugs and syphon out any fluid in the chambers. It does sound liek you need a new UIM.

Coolant in the cylinders caused your engine to hydrolock. Water does not compress, so when the cylinder gets near the top of the stroke it hits the water and stops dead. This can do a huge amount of damage, including bend conn rods, but from your description of events you may be okay.

Find and fix the water leak. Drain and replace coolant and oil. Keep your fingers crossed.

pretty good if you didn't bend the connecting rods.

Might as well do the lowers with Aluminium lower gaskets if not already done. You;ll have all that junk off anyways.

You need to replace the UIM with a new one. Rockauto has a great price on them. You will find a half gallon of coolant in your LIM. While you are that deep, it'* a good time to replace the LIM gaskets. Pull your plugs and your motor will turn over fine. .....don't stand near it when you do this..or you'll get a coolant bath.

You could just fill the coolant ports in your old UIM with JB weld. Or drill/tap/plug the coolant ports in the LIM.
