Hello

I have just registered with your excellent forum. I have a stock 1 owner (me) 1995 SE, Silver, leather CCR, Moonroof, traction with 97,000 miles. My Bonneville has the following issues that I would appreciate some guidence with.

1. Slight oil leak not sure where from
2. Lould creaking / knocking sound when I turn the steering wheel and back out of my drive
3. Shocks seem worn, can I replace the CCR shocks with standard ones and which are the best?
4. Transmission seems to make a low volume whine
5. Are there any must do mods to a stock Bonneville

i can't help you on much, but i have a pretty good understanding of the mods.
everybody around here will say get a 180 thermostat and tranny cooler. after that you have a world of opportunities with intakes, exhaust, chips, plug wires, ignition.........hell even motor swaps. if you're not big into mods, at least get the 180 stat and tranny cooler. it helps for just basic maintenance!
good luck
