94-L27.....Unstableness at 39-51mph -- ICM?

I think I posted about this before but that topic got long and off topic so my question is that:
Could a bad ICM or messed up coils cause a odd stumble/uneasyness/slight lurching at certain RPMs in the low RPM range?
I can only notice this unstableness when throttle is applied very lightly (barely touching the gas) and it is just a minor unstableness, feels like the torque converter is on its way out but I dont think it is.
so 2 questions:
What problems can the ICM cause?
Has anyone ever heard of an ICM related issue in the 40mphish range?

yeah... it engages at about 48 mph

actually I was just reading older posts as read about 50 posts that mentioned this lol.
so why did you get a shudder at 40mph exactly???
So I also read that the TCC can engauge in 3rd gear as well...meaning around 39 or 40mph.
Torque Converter Clutch Solonoid.....what are issues of this going out exactly....????
also what other factors effect it?

I have been dreading a rebuild.
2 out of the 4 3800 cars I have ever owned have had serious transmissions problems.

Some I found interesting. A lot of 94'* though have had lockup issues from what I remember. Nothing serious goes bad from what i've gone through, but it is annoying.

Some of these cars will have some TCC shudder... Sometimes if the fluid hasn't been changed in a while, say a couple of years( If you have no Aux tranny cooler, a year possibly ) The fluid can become oxidised and cause a shudder between shifts and with the TCC apply.... I had shudder problems with both of my cars... The HD coolers seemed to take care of that... Another issue may be the TCC solenoid and or PWM solenoid.... On a scantool you should be able to see the amount of TCC apply... Full apply being 100%, at which point the TCC slip should be very low...
One of the things that you may need to look for is the amount of TCC slip, I have seen nasty shudders under load due to bad converter clutch...
Now On to the ICM issues...
If the ICM is starting to fail in a bad way you may see the tach drop off for a split second at a time, almost as the car has stalled for a split second and them come back to life... Other times you may get an intermintent nasty stumble.... A not so happy coil can also cause a very nasty stumble...
Would you happen to have another ICM with coils still attached handy as a test?
