Default 94-L27.....Unstableness at 39-51mph -- ICM?

****

I think I posted about this before but that topic got long and off topic so my question is that:

Could a bad ICM or messed up coils cause a odd stumble/uneasyness/slight lurching at certain RPMs in the low RPM range?

I can only notice this unstableness when throttle is applied very lightly (barely touching the gas) and it is just a minor unstableness, feels like the torque converter is on its way out but I dont think it is.

so 2 questions:

What problems can the ICM cause?

Has anyone ever heard of an ICM related issue in the 40mphish range?

Sounds like bad Torque converter clutch engagement for TCC lockup.

I dont want to hear about tranny rebuilding issues in this thread.

I am asking about ICM specifically and one has been known to cause a similar problem.

I thought the TCC only locked up in O/D??? that hits about 50mph right?

actually I was just reading older posts as read about 50 posts that mentioned this lol.

so why did you get a shudder at 40mph exactly???

So I also read that the TCC can engauge in 3rd gear as well...meaning around 39 or 40mph.

Torque Converter Clutch Solonoid.....what are issues of this going out exactly....????

also what other factors effect it?

You dont' need a rebuild or anything. It'* more of an annoyance from what I understand. Ol' Blue eyes had this on his old 94.

can you go into a little more detail or link me to a post that explains what you just said.

I have been dreading a rebuild.

2 out of the 4 3800 cars I have ever owned have had serious transmissions problems.

Some I found interesting. A lot of 94'* though have had lockup issues from what I remember. Nothing serious goes bad from what i've gone through, but it is annoying.

http://www.bonnevilleclub.com/forum/...ight=A&start=0

That'* a fun one...

One that was ignition related, not tranny. http://www.bonnevilleclub.com/forum/...=213773#213773

And again
