This is pretty simple job. Just make sure to put a rag in the lifter valley as soon as you pop the LIM off. Now'* a good time to dip the LIM in parts cleaner to get the deposits off the inside. Same concept as cleaning the TB.

Make sure to depressurize the fuel rail before you disconnect it.

It'* not a tough job. Pick up a Chilton'* manual to walk you through the process.

Check with the dealer on getting a set of aluminum frame LIM gaskets. They now sell them for the L36, but not sure on the L27.

The hardest part of the job is cleaning everything.

Good catch there, Bandit. Sorry you had to find it..but then again better to find it this way instead of white smoke. How much coolant have you been losing? I understand that you have to drive it, and it "should" be okay, however you never know. It'* like driving a ticking time bomb.
