Default My first Bonneville.........

I have a 1996 Bonneville SE. Noticed a shutter in the tranny and has gotten steadily worse. This car is a brute and a great ride. Is this common to have tranny trouble? What is the next step?

Do you feel this shutter all the time, under load, or at the shift points?

This to do, check the fluid level and color, check your motor mounts. This one here is in the front of the car drivers side. If it goes the car will shutter at the shift point.

Seems to be under minimal load. Definately at shift points. I don't know enough about transmissions to be able to look in specific direction. I drive 30 miles one way to work, I really like this car but......

What your describing sounds just like that front trans mount I have in that picture.
