Trouble fitting 93SE hood/grill on 93 SSE
Anyone know anything about this? Friend of mine has a roomate with a 93 SSE and he put a 93 SE hood/grill (combo from a yard I think) and it won't close, but when he takes the grill out it closes fine. He said it seems like the grill should be 2 inches thinner. Anyone?

yes that is a 92 grille, the fact is that i believe that early 93'* had that same grille. In 94 they changed the SE grille to the "honyecomb" like I have on my SLE.
no matter what year grille, they are all interchangeable from 92-95

This works because the bumper cover on the SSEi is even all the way across the top edge, but the bumper cover on the SE has about a 1 inch drop between the headlights.
For this swap to work, seems to me either the bottom inch of the SE grill needs to be trimmed off, or the edge of the SSE bumper cover between the headlights needs to be trimmed away.
Also, the latch might not work, which might explain the hood pins, maybe that'* what'* keeping the hood down.
