Where is the exhaust getting red hot? Up in the engine compartment at the exhaust manifolds, or underneath the car near the catalytic convertor or the muffler? Please be as specific as you can.
Is your car supercharged? If it is, which pulley tensioner are you talking about?
Please be more specific by what happens when it is "running bad". Also, turning off and losing power can be two seperate issues. Please describe what happens when the car loses power. Also, describe what happens when the care turns off.
Don't worry about using the right terminology, just describe in your own words what happens. You need to give us a lot more detail than you have in order for us to help you.
I would suggest taking the problems one at a time.
