Default Problem after ported */c on two cars now....

After having my */c ported ('96 SSEi) by OlBlueEyesBonne, my service engine light came on, so I had it scanned and it was throwing 1107 & 107, manifold absolute pressure. Thing is, my idle'* just a little lower than normal, but otherwise there'* no real problem with how it runs. And from what I've been told, it shouldn't run right. Now we just did my friends '98 GTP a couple days ago, and it'* the exact same thing for him, but no real problem with how it runs, besides idleing lower than normal. I don't know what to do. Any help is appreciated.

There'* gotta be something in common to both. Were these done at the same time? Any chance MAP sensors could have been swapped? Vacuum leaks at the MAP connection? A ground left off?

I'd guess a map sensor is unplugged. On the S2'* there are two sensors, they are interchangeable as is the electrical. They should both read identically.

Check the vacuum line from the front of the manifold (by belts) over the valve cover to the sensors and then the electrical connection to both sensors.

Let'* find the issue and make sure Marty knows....we can't have him doing that to everyone.

That was one of my first suggestions via PM when I asked him to post this.

Yeah, I was/am very confused and upset by the fact that it happened with both cars. I know it didn't happen with Travis car when we did his. :? Nor did it do it with my 95 when I did it, but then again that car didn't have a MAP sensor.

Also, I am not sure why, but the W-bodies only got one MAP sensor. I still have the spare one off my GTP engine, so we can swap that on and see if that does the trick on Johnny'* car.
I don't really understand why it did it on both cars.
Both cars DID get coolant in the intake manifold, but Johnny'* 98 GTP didn't get nearly as much in his, but obviously it was too much.
I am just as confused as you guys are....
Dan, if you come to Sauk Centre for the LIM, let me know ahead of time and we can check vacuum line routing and verify it is correct by looking at my brothers 97 SSEI (yeah, it'* missing 1 line from the TB to the trans but that'* not the problem area -all the other lines will be routed the same as your 96). But don't come tomorrow before 3-4PM (I'm in Devils Lake, ND picking up my 1964 Chrysler New Yorker Salon 4 Dr Hdtp) as I won't be home before 2 at the earliest and I have to clean out a space in my brothers garage to park this beatiful 1-owner, rust-free, car that only has 1,620 copies and alot less than that are actually left now.

Anyhow, yeah, we definitely have to figure this out.
