Default exterior temperature off

My exterior tepmerature on my H/U reads in the mid 90'* and 100'*. I live in Illinois it'* cold. Has anyone else had this problem?

Yep. Mine read 168*. If I disconnected and reconnected the ambient temp sensor, the correct temp would be displayed but only for a couple of minutes. I invested $17 and 6 minutes of my time to correct the problem. It affected the way the ECC worked. I had to leave the setting at 90* to get any heat at all. The next step down (85*) threw out colr air.

Mine is off, but not by that much. Up to 10*F off. Where/how do you replace that temp sensor?

Should be attached to the center of the radiator support down low......
