Explanation to remove throttle cables
Guys I am trying to clean my throttle body on my l36. I am in the process of removing the throttle cables. I got the rear one off, but the cable connected to the larger spindle towards the front of the car will not come off, and I sure don't want to break it. Does anyone have any pictures or that has done it on an l36 give a good step by step for the front throttle cable? Any help apreciated.

I just went out and looked at mine....
1. Rotate the throttle towards you.
2. While holding the throttle, raise the cable out of the groove.
3. While holding both the cable and throttle, push the cable towards the intake and at the same time slide out the stud at the end of the cable. Voila!
If you need pics, let me know. Sun is almost going down now.
