if my catalic converter was clogged would it smell funny???

it smeeled really bad the other day when the car was doing its rpm thing that i have talked about in other posts....the rpms goin up and down when you hit the gas...somethign smelled really bad and i dont know if its the CC or something else

Mine isn't too bad. I think the CAT is just going bad, or the O2.

whats the best way to fix that a new one? or is there a way to unclog it...?

i need a whole new exhaust shes starting to look pretty bad but i aint really got the cash for it right now...so...

If your smelling rotten egg smell I am guessing you have a coolant leak I had an intake leak and it was leaking coolant and it was burning it and pukeing it out the back and it smelled like eggs.. I would look into a new intake manifold gasket
