Exhaust Manifold Gaskets?
Just wondering if it'* much work in replacing the gaskets on an exhaust manifold(Series 1 SC'd)Would it be a good idea to get new bolts for the manifold if I have a hard time getting the old ones out?
Thanks

The old bolts are going to be tough to remove. I would replace the bolts and wait till I had them before taking on the job. Spray some penetrating oil and let them sit overnight if you can.
The back set of course will be a tight fit to get to and you might need a wrench instead of a socket on some of the more confined ones.

I had my gasket replaced recently. It wasn't hard to take off the bolts, and we had to just pull the whole exhaust back a bit (no need to remove it). Make sure that the flange seats properly on the gasket before tightening.
I checked about the bolts with the dealer (dealer only part). It was coming up pretty expensive. They sell each bolt and spring separately (so two bolts and two springs). Was something like $60-$70 total. You should only need to replace damaged hardware.
