Default Is 93 SSEi engine / trans the same as 92 SSEi?

My 92 SSEi has 257,000 and trans is acting up. Have the opportunity to put in a 93 SSEi engine & trans with less miles. I believe the engine is a match - but I have heard rumors that several different transmissions came in the 92 / 93 SSEi. Any one know for sure before I purchase the 93 SSEi? Thanks!

Engine will be slightly better than yours because of roller rockers and the possibility of better piston rings. The tranny should be fine, I believe.
