Okay, a/c off car up to temp. Fan relays pulled out. Fuse blows. So the short is somewhere between the relays and the fuse. From the wiring diagram it shows from the fuse power goes directly to the relays. Any ideas?

okay I need some help. The 5C circuit where does it feed power to? I know it goes to the relays for the cooling fan but it also goes somewhere else and I am not sure because I have no schematic. all i have is the diagram in this post.

https://www.gmforum.com/showthread.p...an+temperature

I disconnect the transmission harness and take out the relays and the feed from 5C is still grounding out. Anyone have the wiring diagram and can tell me what else 5C feeds? It is grounding out somewhere.

So with the fuse out from 5C the feed side is connected to ground. This si the same wire that feeds terminal 85 on the fan relays. That doesn't seem right to me. I am thinking that it is just bare somewhere grounding out. Any thoughts?

If the fuse still pops when both relays are out, then you must have a short between either 85'* and P100, which is the grommet on your firewall.
