Okay finally got the car to my house to work on it. I now need to know if anyone can tell me where the relays for the a/c clutch and hi and low fan speeds are. I assume they are under the hood but the ones under the panel are not labeled. Am I looking in the correct location? If so can someone point me to the locations of what I need? I tried to search but cant find it on the forum.

Well I checked the fuse and it was bad replaced it and car runs fine now. I am kinda laughing my head off because the mechanic spent about 8 hours fiddling with this car and not once checked the fuse. Guess what? The cooling fans are on this same fuse thus the code lol

So if anyone ever sees a P1670 code and the transmission is in limp mode I can send you a fix for only $9.99 lol!!! Thanks a lot for the help guys Now that the main issue is fixed time to move on to convenience issue fixes



I also wrote a little narrative about my day.

So it was a cold windy wet stormy January day. The temperature dipping close to freezing. I had my hat on and my fingers were really cold. I got in the car popped the hood and looked at the relays. Then I looked under the dash at the fuse panel and there was something terribly wrong..... the fuse was blown!! I searched and searched and searched for 5 seconds for a new fuse and thank the Lord I found one. I positioned myself to put a new fuse back into position. After what seemed like minutes but was only seconds I accomplished my goal, the new fuse was in place. Only one thing left to do. I got behind the wheel of the car inserted the key into the ignition and started the car. Now the moment of truth. I shifted the car into D and felt the transmission engage and I let off the brake and applied pressure on the gas pedal and the car actually moved forward. It worked!!! I drove a victory lap around the neighborhood to celebrate survival of my death defying ordeal. As I pulled the car back in front of the house I felt the satisfaction of yet another battle won.

Only thing is...you didn't tell us which fuse!

5C - Labeled as Cooling fan/Transmission

I'm going to duplicate that on my 95 and see what happens.

Is that on the drivers side fuse panel?
