You'd have a few hurdles to overcome. Like remapping some of the various instruments etc. Some wire moves at the firewall. With FSM'* for both you could definately make it happen.

Lemme see if I get this right.
You have a 93 car, but need an engine, but the engine you have is a newer Series II correct?
You can pretty much swap any 95 to 2005(ish) Series II engine in any 95-2005 body. It'* a matter of swapping all needed sensors.
As far as going from Series II platform to a Series 1 platform, not sure.

i can get you diagrams from any FSM from 82-06...
i think the absolute easiest route would be to grab a 95 (or maybe 96-97?) L36 PCM, and just bolt up and go...

ya ill go and grab thoughs fsm and let me recap
i have a 93 bonnie ssei and im looking a a 99 series 2 sc motor for my car. i dont feel like puting a new tranny in atm, so sences 96 ssei still had a 4t60 that the pcm from a 96 would bring the 99 s2 and the 93 4t60 together. so i cna have a s2 reliable care with no ticking noises lol

My personal plan of action was to get a 4T65E from a 3100 powered car and bolt the HD differential to it, which will by next week will give it 3.29 gears. Easier on the transmission, and more power to the wheels.
