Default CCR?

Hi all
just wanted to know what CCR is and if my car has it of to find a way to tell and what does it do. I have searched around and really didnt find my answer probly need to word my search better. But anyways does the CCR also effect the performance shift from what i read it effects performance mode im assuming there both the same.
And one more thing i have the air inflator(ELC i think) in my trunk with just the on and off buttons but i dont have this control valve switch that i keep reading about, do only newer years have it?

thanks for any input

CCR = Computer Command Ride

It adjust how stiff the Struts are front and back. Thats all it does.

Performance Shift will Control how soft or Firm the shifts are. if you have it, you will see a "normal shift" & "Performance shift" buttons next to the shifter.

CCR is computer command ride.

The easiest way to tell if you have it is to look to the left of the console shifter. The buttons there would be
Performance Shift
Normal Shift
Traction Control
Performance Ride
Touring Ride

The last two buttons denote CCR.

On the output for air.. do you see a hole in the plastic near the on/off buttons?

EDIT...too slow getting the pic..
Credence Clearwater Revival (CCR) Don't think your car has that.

Computer Command Ride (CCR) - Electronically adjusted suspension.

My 98 has it...next to the shifter. a series of buttons.

What control valve switch are you speaking of them? I thought you meant you didn't see the valve output of the system.

Technically speaking that is the switch you see.

There is a soleniod in the back passenger side of the trunk that when disconnected and you press the on button you see, it will default the air into the struts only.

CCR was first offered in 1994. That'* why you don't have it.

Yes, with a hose, you can inflate a tire with the trunk inflator. The ELC (electronic level control) system uses the same pump to automatically level the rear of the car. If you dump a bunch of groceries in there, it will automatically detect it and raise the rear back level.

In order to 'trick' the rear ELC for the dragstrip, you will need to disconnect the 2-wire connector on the solenoid valve in the trunk, behind the rear seat back, just to the left of the right rear strut tower. Press ON on the trunk inflator controls, wait a couple minutes for the rear to raise, then pull fuse #12 above the brake pedal to keep it from venting back down.
