Yup - none visable, it'* not peeing fuel. Also had a service tech at the garage down the street check it, he thought it was fine, checked fuel pressure at the rail, and said that looked good. Since the check engine light is now on continuously and it'* running really rough, I also had him pull the codes. The only thing that was returned was the EGR valve, so he recommended doing that. Does this fit the rest of the symptoms?

The smell of gas when it'* first started can also be detected if you're standing outside the car, it'* not just coming from the ventiliation system. It'* been raining a regular monsoon up here, so I haven't had a chance to put it on a ramp and check along all the fuel lines for leaks.

Any thoughts? Is it worth spending 150-200 on the EGR valve?

Thanks!

i'm serious man... see if you can have the computer checked out. our olds would throw different codes left and right, and we'd replace one thing and it'd throw another code. finally we replaced the computer and she was right as rain. if it'* possible and cheap enough to get some kind of diagnostic on the computer, i'd recommend looking into it.
