Hello all!

Been lurking for a few days....decided to chime in.......

I have owned several bonnevilles over last decade or so......I just bought an excellent low mileage 1998 SSei. It is white with a dark charcoal/pewter? leather interior. It has all the available options and only had 72,000 kms( 45,000 miles) on it! Still smells new!!!! It was at a local dealership here in Calgary ( Jack Carter) and they must have needed a sale...got it for $2000 over blackbook and a warranty to boot! It even had both remotes and both sets of( expensive) door keys!!!!

Compared to my 1992 SSei, it is a different car! I guess GM must have listened to the complaints and improved the overall quality, driveability(sp!) and such in the intervening years.....it was a nice surprise! ( anyone need the 1992 SSei for parts car? see the for sale section.......... )

No complaints about this car so far( only had it since last Saturday...)
They replaced the blower motor at the dealership( deadspot?) before I bought it
Anyone here with a similar vintage(1996-99)....any problems to watch for?

How many of you here, are in the Calgary area? I am in Cochrane( NW Calgary )

Hi, welcome to the Club. Check the TechInfo page(located at the top of the page) for some things to keep you car rolling or to give it that extra zing. Tons of info on this site.
I'm sure some of the Calgary members will speak up.

Not all of us in Calgary hate Edmonton....
I don't think the others on the list realize the intense rivalry there is between CGY and EDM to appreciate it.......
Maybe the Houston/Dallas crowd....... :?:

Good to know ya! Nice to have a GM partsman on the inside Maybe you can get me parts without the "bump" ...atleast!!!!!!! :P

I just about SH*T when they quoted me C$210 for a bare headlight assembly for my 1998 Mine has a stone bruise on the drivers side one and it is letting in some moisture.........
