How do I tell what suspension type I have in my car? I'm going to replace the struts and shocks, but I need to know if my ride is CCR or ?

If u have CCR, there will be the buttons next to the shifter that say, Perform Ride and Touring Ride, if not you just have standard type struts...
HOWEVER you may have ELC, which, controls the rear shocks say when wieght is added to the truck, it brings the level back up. way to tell, under the hood, on the left side, by the air box, there will be a mini compressor, either that or crawl under the car and see if there is clear plasic lines running right into the shocks themselves.

1998 would have the air compressor behind the right rear wheel -under the bumper.
If I recall correctly in 1998 the SE did not have the option of ELC (FE2 on your spare tire cover). You will have the standard suspension which will be stated on the spare tire cover with the code FE1.

You can upgrade to FE2 though with the springs and anti-sway bars from a SSE or SSEi, and in rare cases on SE'* and SLE'*. Lesabres and Park Avenues with Grand Touring Suspension is also FE2 in most cases (not in my mom'* 1993 Park Avenue Ultra though).
