i have a 97 n the fuel filter is on the passenger side of the car right in front of the rear tire. shouldnt be too hard to change. theres a little clip on one side and a nut on the other. the side with the nut might be rusted shut so put some wd40 or liquid wrench on it and let it sit for awhile and it should come loose pretty east. i was going to change mine today but cant find the right size wrench so ima have to do it at school.

usually when a fuel filter is bad/plugged, the car will have reduced power and sometimes it will have no power at all.

Does your car seem like it'* having trouble getting up and going?

what brand of o2 sensor did you install?

Bosch and our cars do not mix well at all...

You may need to look at driving style. Another thing that can cause low millage is ethanol in the gas. Winter blend gas will also cause a drop. I'm getting about 18 right now. In the summer I get about 25 to 28. Do you warm up the car before you leave? This will cause a big drop as well.

ya about half the time i do because i have a baby, maybe i will just get some sea foam and through it in the gas and see if maybe that improves gas milage.

Run 1/3 of the seafoam in a vac line, the other 2/3 can in the fuel tank. That may help a bit.
