This picture was taken of my girlfriends 99 grand prix. I don't have these metal surrounding deals. Do any of you? Any tips on trying to get them off? I haven't tried yet just wanted to check.
Thanks,
Rodney

They're heat shields, and they slip over the end of the plug wire.
I recently found some at a local junk yard.

I have them on my back plugs. Do you need to get them off the block? Just pull.

I have them on my rear set as well, and i'm happy I do. It'll make them last a lot longer, and $60 for kevlar boots from Taylor, on my $50 wires isn't cool.

Keep them, definetly, the rear doesn't get much air flow at all.

Helps to give em half a twist while pulling. Just be sure and have a good grip, dont want your hand to come back and get cut on something
