Do me a favor and see if the driver foot area is wet... Meaning check under the carpet and feel the insulation... Is it wet or dry?
You may have a lot of reading to do... depending on what you find

It is possible that a water deflector is leaking by. You will have to remove the interior door panel for inspect. I suggest you re-size your sig pic down some. Oh yeah, Welcome to Bonneville Club!

I had this same problem on my car. The leak was caused by the rubber seal pulling away from the car around the top of the door. I used liquid nails to glue it back in place and it has been ok ever since.

Gald to hear you got it fixed... Would you by chance know the general area of the leak?
