Leaking upper intake AGAIN

Leaking upper intake AGAIN
I just changed the oil on my 99 and did an inspection around the engine. I found a small puddle in on of the lower intake manifold valleys. Here'* a pic (I circled the puddle):
And here'* directly above it:
This is on the driver'* side, just down and across from the throttle body. This make me very angry. I just replace the upper intake, upper gasket and all lowers at 77K in May. Now, in Feb., at 103K it'* already leaking.
Stupid GM. What a worthless design. God this makes me mad.
My overflow bottle isn't low what-so-ever, but it'* just a matter of time. I guess if I want to keep this car around I'll have to put "new upper intake manifold, new upper intake gasket, and new lower gaskets" on the annual preventative maintenance schedule.

It doesn't look like enough to worry about.
Do you have to add coolant?
You could try re-torquing the bolts or add a small amount of Bars...
No problem.

bolts because the fuel rail is in the way. Actually, I can only get to one of the bolts
(near the PCV valve). I'm going to keep a close eye on it. I've been doing 290 miles per
day in it lately so fixing it MUST be done on the weekends...

The Alluminum unit is about $100 give or take... But out throttle body will not work on it.. Its not fair... Series III got the alluminum..

What causes the actual lower intake to have to be replaced? Defects in the aluminum?
I'm really interested in making the aluminum upper work, though.

I think the bottom intake issues are with pitting or warping... Not 100% on that..
Well the alluminum upper is used on the Series III 3800 V6.. Its all fly by wire for the 3800 series 3... There is no IAC on the series 3 throttle body either... Its all electronicly controled.. The PCM uses the throttle control for idle... So there are no IAC passages either.. lol
